Proofly is organised around two simple concepts: campaigns and notifications. Understanding how they relate makes everything else easier.

Campaign = one website

A campaign represents a single website or domain. It holds the settings for that site — including the domain check, the Include subdomains option, and the pixel that serves your widgets. You create one campaign per website you want to use Proofly on.

Notification = one widget

Inside a campaign you create notifications. Each notification is a single widget with its own type, text, appearance, targeting and triggers. A campaign can hold many notifications, and each one is toggled on or off independently.

The pixel ties it together

Every campaign is served by your personal JavaScript pixel. When a visitor loads a page, the pixel checks which of that campaign's notifications match the current URL, targeting and triggers, and displays the ones that qualify.
