Control when notifications appear: delay, scroll and exit-intent
Where URL targeting decides which pages show a notification, display triggers decide when it appears on those pages. You will find them in the Triggers tab.
The three trigger types
Delay — show after a number of seconds (0–120). Use 0 for immediate, or a few seconds to let the page settle first.
Scroll — show once the visitor scrolls a percentage of the page (0–100%). Great for appearing after someone has read part of your content.
Exit-intent — show the moment a visitor moves their mouse to leave the tab. Perfect for a last-chance offer or email capture.
Related display settings
Display duration — how long the notification stays on screen (or forever)
Once per session — do not show it again in the same browsing session
Show on mobile — whether it appears on small screens (under 768px)
Tip: match the trigger to the goal. Social proof works well with a short delay; email capture and offers often perform best with exit-intent.
